Shop Til You Drop manual - Entering prices from the till receipt

Select the first shop you visited from the list at the top of the window. If there is only one shop in the list it will be selected automatically for you.

Check that the list is ready to accept prices rather than quantities by making sure that the Edit prices button is down. The Show all items option should not be selected.

Only entries in the Price column can be changed on this page. Other item details can be changed on the Items page. You can quickly edit other item details by right-clicking on the item in the list and choosing Edit this item.

You can change the order in which the items are displayed by clicking on a column heading.

Click in the price box of the first item you wish to change the price of and type in the price from the till receipt. The fastest way to enter prices and move down the list is to use the numeric keypad on your keyboard. Type in a price and press the Enter key to automatically move to the next item in the list. To skip an item just press the Enter key. You can also use the Up/Down cursor keys or the mouse to move between items.

Do the same for each of the shops you visited by selecting the next shop in the shops list at the top.
