Restoring data from a backup

Only available when the program has been registered

If something happens to your data which requires that you need to recover data from a backup file (maybe you accidentally deleted an entire shop for example), use this Restore function.

You will be prompted to choose a backup file. Clicking on the View menu | Details button in the file selection dialog will display the dates/times that the backups were made. The backup files are stored in the backup folder specified in Tools | Options. Normally this is "My Documents\Shop Til You Drop". However, you can select a backup file stored in any location.

WARNING - Restoring a database from a backup file will overwrite all data currently stored in the database.
